Queenswood Primary School

"I was very pleased to be elected as Staff Governor at Queenswood when a vacancy became available this year. I have worked at Queenswood for almost 25 years, all of my children have attended Queenswood and I have in the past been a Parent Governor. Currently I am employed by the school as the School Administrator and have also been employed at Queenswood in the past as the schools Caretaker, Lunchtime Supervisor and TA. I moved to Ketley Bank when I was 11 and although I moved out of the area for a few years a have recently moved back and live close to the school. I believe that working and living in the community has given me a valuable insight into what the community wants from their school. I feel honoured and privileged to have been part of the schools development over the years. I have good relationships with our parents which stems from growing up and living on Ketley Bank. I am friendly, approachable, will offer constructive advice and will be a critical friend to both parents and staff to enable me to provide the necessary support to ensure the school delivers the high standards of education our young pupils deserve. I am passionate about this school and I do believe by working together, we can create the best opportunities for your child to succeed. I am excited about supporting the Governors and look forward to continued success for the school."
